4th edition of ‘Taste of Harvest’ Cameroon: 42 coffee samples in competition

The 4th edition of the National Taste of Harvest competition is currently taking place at the Central Laboratory of the National Cocoa and Coffee Board in Akwa, Douala. 

The exercise that runs from January 20-24, 2025, kicked off with producers of robusta and arabica coffees submitting a total of 42 samples from across all producing areas.

During the exercise, coffee samples are coded, roasted, and cupped in accordance with the official protocol and scoring system of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCA) by a panel of certified judges from the National Cocoa and Coffee Board (NCCB). 

The winning samples to be revealed on Friday January 24, 2025, will go on to represent Cameroon at the African Taste of Harvest Competition in Dar es Salam, Tanzania organized by the African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA)
