2022/23 Coffee Season : Consultation meeting between Public and Private Sectors

Stakeholders in the coffee sector met on Tuesday 05 December 2023 in Akwa to evaluate the performance of the 2022/2023 Coffee Season.

Participants included, for the public sector ; the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Phytosanitary Serrvice), MINFI (Customs Service) and Guichet Unique, and for the private sector ; CICC, GEX, BGFT, TORRECAM, UCCAO, NWCA, CCQ, D2 COMPANY, GIC-COPACAM, TERRIFIC, TANYISON LTD, CAFE PIERRE ANDRE, SOCOMAR and TRANSITALIA.

The meeting focused on :

- the presentation of the provisional balance-sheet for the 2022/23 coffee season;

- the electronic procedure for exporting cocoa and coffee by land, air and river.

 

During the meeting, the representatives of the various administrations also reviewed the activities undertaken as well as the difficulties encountered.
