Launch of the 2024-2025 Cocoa season

Fueled by a 1.17% rise in the national marketed production of cocoa during the 2023-24 season, the Ministry of Trade will be Launching the 2024-2025 Cocoa season in Mvengue tomorrow 8th of August as from 8:30AM under the distinguished patronage of the Ministers of Trade, H.E. Luc Magloire MBARGA ATANGANA and the Minister of Agriculture, HE Gabriel MBAIROBE.

As in previous years, the 2023/2024 cocoa season in Cameroon which was spread over the legal period from August 1, 2023 to July 15, 2024, registered a total of 266,725,018 KG produced and 85,789,063 KG transformed nationally.
